In the 1st quarter of 2017, US trade with Afghanistan was $145.5 million, down 50.13% ($146.3 million) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US exports to Afghanistan in the 1st quarter of 2017 were $140.8 million, down 50.89% ($145.9 million) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US imports from Afghanistan in the 1st quarter of 2017 were $4.8 million, down 8.44% ($0.4 million) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US trade surplus with Afghanistan in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $136.0 million, a 51.68% decrease ($145.4 million) over the 1st quarter of 2016.
