In the first half of 2017, US trade with Algeria totaled $2,842.3 million, up 16.37% ($399.9 million) from the first half of 2016.

US exports to Algeria in the first half of 2017 were $643.7 million, down 41.65% ($459.5 million) from the first half of 2016.

US imports from Algeria in the first half of 2017 totaled $2,198.6 million, up 64.16% ($859.3 million) from the first half of 2016.

US trade deficit with Algeria in the first half of 2017 was $1,554.9 million, a 558.58% increase ($1,318.8 million) over the first half of 2016.

Algeria was the US 58th largest trading partner in the first half of 2017 (up from 61st in the first half of 2016), accounting for 0.1477% of US total trade (up from 0.1356% in the first half of 2016).

Algeria was the US 70th largest export market in the first half of 2017 (down from 54th in the first half of 2016), accounting for 0.0850% of US total exports (down from 0.1551% in the first half of 2016).

Algeria was the US 54th largest supplier in the first half of 2017 (up from 62nd in the first half of 2016), accounting for 0.1883% of US total imports (up from 0.1229% in the first half of 2016).

  • Tools, implements, cutlery, spoons and forks, of base metal; parts thereof of base metal (HS code 82) - a decrease of $7.7 million;
