In the 2nd quarter of 2017, US trade with Australia totaled $9.0 billion, up 7.10% ($0.6 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Australia in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $6.4 billion, up 10.33% ($0.6 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Australia in the 2nd quarter of 2017 were $2.6 billion, down 0.12% ($0.0 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US trade surplus with Australia in the 2nd quarter of 2017 was $3.8 billion, a 18.83% increase ($0.6 billion) over the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Australia was the US 24th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (down from 23rd in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.9089% of US total trade (up from 0.9045% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
