US Trade with Brazil

In the 1st quarter of 2017, US trade with Brazil totaled $15.1 billion, up 22.49% ($2.8 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US exports to Brazil in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $8.2 billion, up 27.33% ($1.8 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US imports from Brazil in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $6.9 billion, up 17.22% ($1.0 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US trade surplus with Brazil in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $1.3 billion, a 141.03% increase ($0.7 billion) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

Brazil was the US 13th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 16th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 1.6047% of US total trade (up from 1.4045% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Brazil was the US 11th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 12th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 2.1899% of US total exports (up from 1.8435% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Brazil was the US 17th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2017 (just as in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 1.2193% of US total imports (up from 1.1153% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
