In the 2nd quarter of 2017, US trade with Chile totaled $5.9 billion, up 4.45% ($0.3 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Chile in the 2nd quarter of 2017 were $3.2 billion, down 6.94% ($0.2 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Chile in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $2.7 billion, up 22.13% ($0.5 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US trade surplus with Chile in the 2nd quarter of 2017 was $0.5 billion, a 59.56% decrease ($0.7 billion) over the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Chile was the US 30th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (down from 29th in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.5977% of US total trade (down from 0.6099% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Chile was the US 23rd largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (down from 22nd in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.8306% of US total exports (down from 0.9443% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
