In the 1st quarter of 2017, US trade with Egypt totaled $1,458.6 million, up 17.31% ($215.2 million) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US exports to Egypt in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $1,056.3 million, up 17.09% ($154.2 million) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US imports from Egypt in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $402.3 million, up 17.88% ($61.0 million) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US trade surplus with Egypt in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $654.0 million, a 16.61% increase ($93.2 million) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

Egypt was the US 58th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 59th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1555% of US total trade (up from 0.1421% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Egypt was the US 46th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 47th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.2836% of US total exports (up from 0.2596% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
