In the first half of 2017, US trade with Egypt totaled $2,909.0 million, up 11.72% ($305.2 million) from the first half of 2016.

US exports to Egypt in the first half of 2017 totaled $2,015.4 million, up 10.97% ($199.2 million) from the first half of 2016.

US imports from Egypt in the first half of 2017 totaled $893.6 million, up 13.46% ($106.0 million) from the first half of 2016.

US trade surplus with Egypt in the first half of 2017 was $1,121.8 million, a 9.06% increase ($93.2 million) over the first half of 2016.

Egypt was the US 57th largest trading partner in the first half of 2017 (up from 60th in the first half of 2016), accounting for 0.1511% of US total trade (up from 0.1446% in the first half of 2016).

Egypt was the US 47th largest export market in the first half of 2017 (just as in the first half of 2016), accounting for 0.2662% of US total exports (up from 0.2554% in the first half of 2016).
