US exports to France in the first half of 2017 totaled $16.6 billion, up 2.92% ($0.5 billion) from the first half of 2016.

US imports from France in the first half of 2017 were $23.5 billion, down 1.52% ($0.4 billion) from the first half of 2016.

US trade deficit with France in the first half of 2017 was $7.0 billion, a 10.65% decrease ($0.8 billion) over the first half of 2016.

France was the US 8th largest trading partner in the first half of 2017 (just as in the first half of 2016), accounting for 2.0831% of US total trade (down from 2.2208% in the first half of 2016).

France was the US 11th largest export market in the first half of 2017 (just as in the first half of 2016), accounting for 2.1859% of US total exports (down from 2.2616% in the first half of 2016).
