US exports to Germany in the first half of 2017 totaled $25.9 billion, up 6.90% ($1.7 billion) from the first half of 2016.

US imports from Germany in the first half of 2017 were $57.8 billion, down 0.12% ($0.1 billion) from the first half of 2016.

US trade deficit with Germany in the first half of 2017 was $31.9 billion, a 5.17% decrease ($1.7 billion) over the first half of 2016.

Germany was the US 5th largest trading partner in the first half of 2017 (just as in the first half of 2016), accounting for 4.3500% of US total trade (down from 4.5605% in the first half of 2016).

Germany was the US 6th largest export market in the first half of 2017 (just as in the first half of 2016), accounting for 3.4213% of US total exports (up from 3.4080% in the first half of 2016).
