US Trade with Ghana

In the 2nd quarter of 2017, US trade with Ghana totaled $433.6 million, up 51.88% ($148.1 million) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Ghana in the 2nd quarter of 2017 were $180.7 million, down 3.02% ($5.6 million) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Ghana in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $252.9 million, up 154.97% ($153.7 million) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US trade balance with Ghana went from a surplus of $87.1 million in the 2nd quarter of 2016, to a deficit of $72.2 million in the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Ghana was the US 81st largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (up from 91st in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0440% of US total trade (up from 0.0308% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Ghana was the US 85th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0470% of US total exports (down from 0.0512% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Ghana was the US 75th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (up from 94th in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0420% of US total imports (up from 0.0177% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
