In the first half of 2017, US trade with Ghana totaled $911.6 million, up 55.31% ($324.7 million) from the first half of 2016.

US exports to Ghana in the first half of 2017 totaled $425.4 million, up 13.11% ($49.3 million) from the first half of 2016.

US imports from Ghana in the first half of 2017 totaled $486.2 million, up 130.59% ($275.3 million) from the first half of 2016.

US trade balance with Ghana went from a surplus of $165.3 million in the first half of 2016, to a deficit of $60.8 million in the first half of 2017.

Ghana was the US 82nd largest trading partner in the first half of 2017 (up from 89th in the first half of 2016), accounting for 0.0474% of US total trade (up from 0.0326% in the first half of 2016).

Ghana was the US 81st largest export market in the first half of 2017 (up from 83rd in the first half of 2016), accounting for 0.0562% of US total exports (up from 0.0529% in the first half of 2016).
