US Trade with Iran

In the 2nd quarter of 2017, US trade with Iran was $32.8 million, down 27.04% ($12.2 million) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Iran in the 2nd quarter of 2017 were $20.5 million, down 2.32% ($0.5 million) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Iran in the 2nd quarter of 2017 were $12.3 million, down 48.76% ($11.7 million) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US trade balance with Iran went from a deficit of $2.9 million in the 2nd quarter of 2016, to a surplus of $8.3 million in the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Iran was the US 154th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (down from 142nd in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0033% of US total trade (down from 0.0049% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Iran was the US 142nd largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (down from 140th in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0053% of US total exports (down from 0.0058% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
