In the 1st quarter of 2017, US trade with Ireland totaled $15.4 billion, up 20.64% ($2.6 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US exports to Ireland in the 1st quarter of 2017 were $2.3 billion, down 12.25% ($0.3 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US imports from Ireland in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $13.1 billion, up 29.23% ($3.0 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with Ireland in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $10.8 billion, a 43.92% increase ($3.3 billion) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

Ireland was the US 12th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 14th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 1.6450% of US total trade (up from 1.4620% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Ireland was the US 27th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2017 (down from 25th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.6245% of US total exports (down from 0.7629% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Ireland was the US 8th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 12th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 2.3170% of US total imports (up from 1.9225% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
