In the first half of 2017, US trade with Ireland totaled $30.8 billion, up 14.03% ($3.8 billion) from the first half of 2016.

US exports to Ireland in the first half of 2017 totaled $5.3 billion, up 4.99% ($0.2 billion) from the first half of 2016.

US imports from Ireland in the first half of 2017 totaled $25.5 billion, up 16.09% ($3.5 billion) from the first half of 2016.

US trade deficit with Ireland in the first half of 2017 was $20.2 billion, a 19.37% increase ($3.3 billion) over the first half of 2016.

Ireland was the US 13th largest trading partner in the first half of 2017 (up from 14th in the first half of 2016), accounting for 1.5980% of US total trade (up from 1.4979% in the first half of 2016).

Ireland was the US 27th largest export market in the first half of 2017 (just as in the first half of 2016), accounting for 0.6943% of US total exports (down from 0.7042% in the first half of 2016).

Ireland was the US 8th largest supplier in the first half of 2017 (up from 11th in the first half of 2016), accounting for 2.1841% of US total imports (up from 2.0159% in the first half of 2016).
