US exports to Italy in 2018 totaled $23.0 billion, up 25.56% ($4.7 billion) from 2017.

US imports from Italy in 2018 totaled $56.5 billion, up 9.90% ($5.1 billion) from 2017.

US trade deficit with Italy in 2018 was $33.5 billion, a 1.23% increase ($0.4 billion) over 2017.

Italy was the US 10th largest trading partner in 2018 (up from 11th in 2017), accounting for 1.8570% of US total trade (up from 1.7631% in 2017).

Italy was the US 17th largest export market in 2018 (up from 19th in 2017), accounting for 1.3819% of US total exports (up from 1.1850% in 2017).
