In the 2nd quarter of 2017, US trade with Libya totaled $351.5 million, up 99.05% ($174.9 million) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Libya in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $307.5 million, up 145.27% ($182.1 million) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

  • Plastics and articles thereof (HS code 39) - an increase of $3.6 million;

  • Animal or vegetable fats and oils and their cleavage products prepared edible fats; animal or vegetable waxes (HS code 15) - an increase of $0.5 million;
