In 2013, US trade with Malaysia totaled $41.0 billion, up 3.88% ($1.5 billion) from 2012.

US exports to Malaysia in 2013 totaled $13.0 billion, up 1.47% ($0.2 billion) from 2012.

US imports from Malaysia in 2013 totaled $28.0 billion, up 5.03% ($1.3 billion) from 2012.

US trade deficit with Malaysia in 2013 was $15.0 billion, a 8.33% increase ($1.2 billion) over 2012.

Malaysia was the US 20th largest trading partner in 2013 (up from 24th in 2012), accounting for 1.05% of US total trade (up from 1.02% in 2012).

Malaysia was the US 25th largest export market in 2013 (just as in 2012), accounting for 0.82% of US total exports (down from 0.83% in 2012).

Malaysia was the US 17th largest supplier in 2013 (up from 18th in 2012), accounting for 1.20% of US total imports (up from 1.14% in 2012).
