In the 1st quarter of 2017, US trade with Peru totaled $4.3 billion, up 32.58% ($1.0 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US exports to Peru in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $2.2 billion, up 14.55% ($0.3 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US imports from Peru in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $2.0 billion, up 60.37% ($0.8 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US trade surplus with Peru in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $0.2 billion, a 70.02% decrease ($0.5 billion) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

Peru was the US 35th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 36th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.4550% of US total trade (up from 0.3680% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
