In the 1st quarter of 2017, US trade with the Philippines totaled $4.8 billion, up 11.78% ($0.5 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US exports to the Philippines in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $2.0 billion, up 8.92% ($0.2 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US imports from the Philippines in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $2.7 billion, up 13.98% ($0.3 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with the Philippines in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $0.7 billion, a 30.50% increase ($0.2 billion) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

The Philippines was the US 33rd largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (just as in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.5066% of US total trade (up from 0.4859% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

The Philippines was the US 34th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2017 (down from 32nd in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.5391% of US total exports (up from 0.5305% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
