In the 4th quarter of 2017, US trade with Portugal totaled $1,291.1 million, up 14.15% ($160.1 million) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

US exports to Portugal in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $335.6 million, up 27.02% ($71.4 million) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

US imports from Portugal in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $955.5 million, up 10.23% ($88.7 million) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with Portugal in the 4th quarter of 2017 was $619.9 million, a 2.87% increase ($17.3 million) over the 4th quarter of 2016.

Portugal was the US 60th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 62nd in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1238% of US total trade (up from 0.1176% in the 4th quarter of 2016).
