US Trade with Russia

In 2018, US trade with Russia totaled $28.5 billion, up 15.54% ($3.8 billion) from 2017.

US exports to Russia in 2018 were $6.6 billion, down 4.98% ($0.3 billion) from 2017.

US imports from Russia in 2018 totaled $21.9 billion, up 23.63% ($4.2 billion) from 2017.

US trade deficit with Russia in 2018 was $15.3 billion, a 42.24% increase ($4.5 billion) over 2017.

Russia was the US 28th largest trading partner in 2018 (up from 29th in 2017), accounting for 0.6669% of US total trade (up from 0.6249% in 2017).

Russia was the US 37th largest export market in 2018 (down from 34th in 2017), accounting for 0.3988% of US total exports (down from 0.4519% in 2017).

Russia was the US 22nd largest supplier in 2018 (up from 23rd in 2017), accounting for 0.8375% of US total imports (up from 0.7359% in 2017).
