In the first half of 2017, US trade with South Korea totaled $61.1 billion, up 6.02% ($3.5 billion) from the first half of 2016.

US exports to South Korea in the first half of 2017 totaled $24.5 billion, up 21.79% ($4.4 billion) from the first half of 2016.

US imports from South Korea in the first half of 2017 were $36.7 billion, down 2.41% ($0.9 billion) from the first half of 2016.

US trade deficit with South Korea in the first half of 2017 was $12.2 billion, a 30.17% decrease ($5.3 billion) over the first half of 2016.

South Korea was the US 6th largest trading partner in the first half of 2017 (just as in the first half of 2016), accounting for 3.1758% of US total trade (down from 3.2019% in the first half of 2016).

South Korea was the US 7th largest export market in the first half of 2017 (up from 8th in the first half of 2016), accounting for 3.2292% of US total exports (up from 2.8233% in the first half of 2016).
