US Trade with Thailand

In the 2nd quarter of 2017, US trade with Thailand totaled $10.7 billion, up 8.35% ($0.8 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Thailand in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $2.8 billion, up 14.48% ($0.4 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Thailand in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $7.9 billion, up 6.32% ($0.5 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with Thailand in the 2nd quarter of 2017 was $5.1 billion, a 2.30% increase ($0.1 billion) over the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Thailand was the US 21st largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 1.0835% of US total trade (up from 1.0658% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Thailand was the US 26th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (up from 27th in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.7287% of US total exports (up from 0.6735% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Thailand was the US 16th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 1.3102% of US total imports (down from 1.3196% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
