US Trade with Trinidad and Tobago

In the 1st quarter of 2017, US trade with Trinidad and Tobago was $1,394.9 million, down 16.57% ($277.0 million) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US exports to Trinidad and Tobago in the 1st quarter of 2017 were $414.4 million, down 46.24% ($356.4 million) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US imports from Trinidad and Tobago in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $980.5 million, up 8.81% ($79.4 million) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with Trinidad and Tobago in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $566.0 million, a 334.46% increase ($435.8 million) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

Trinidad and Tobago was the US 59th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (down from 52nd in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1487% of US total trade (down from 0.1911% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Trinidad and Tobago was the US 64th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2017 (down from 49th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1113% of US total exports (down from 0.2218% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Trinidad and Tobago was the US 55th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2017 (down from 51st in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1733% of US total imports (up from 0.1708% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
