US Trade with Turkey

In the 2nd quarter of 2017, US trade with Turkey was $5.2 billion, down 2.21% ($0.1 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Turkey in the 2nd quarter of 2017 were $2.6 billion, down 18.70% ($0.6 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Turkey in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $2.6 billion, up 22.03% ($0.5 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US trade balance with Turkey went from a surplus of $1.0 billion in the 2nd quarter of 2016, to a deficit of $0.1 billion in the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Turkey was the US 31st largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.5244% of US total trade (down from 0.5716% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Turkey was the US 29th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (down from 24th in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.6652% of US total exports (down from 0.8658% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Turkey was the US 33rd largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.4344% of US total imports (up from 0.3812% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
