In the first half of 2017, US trade with Turkey was $9.6 billion, down 1.66% ($0.2 billion) from the first half of 2016.

US exports to Turkey in the first half of 2017 were $4.7 billion, down 13.39% ($0.7 billion) from the first half of 2016.

US imports from Turkey in the first half of 2017 totaled $4.9 billion, up 13.27% ($0.6 billion) from the first half of 2016.

US trade balance with Turkey went from a surplus of $1.2 billion in the first half of 2016, to a deficit of $0.1 billion in the first half of 2017.

Turkey was the US 32nd largest trading partner in the first half of 2017 (down from 31st in the first half of 2016), accounting for 0.4978% of US total trade (down from 0.5411% in the first half of 2016).

Turkey was the US 29th largest export market in the first half of 2017 (down from 25th in the first half of 2016), accounting for 0.6244% of US total exports (down from 0.7676% in the first half of 2016).
