US Trade with Uganda

In the 2nd quarter of 2017, US trade with Uganda totaled $38.5 million, up 17.10% ($5.6 million) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Uganda in the 2nd quarter of 2017 were $18.1 million, down 0.72% ($0.1 million) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Uganda in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $20.4 million, up 39.34% ($5.8 million) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US trade balance with Uganda went from a surplus of $3.6 million in the 2nd quarter of 2016, to a deficit of $2.3 million in the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Uganda was the US 150th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (up from 151st in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0039% of US total trade (up from 0.0036% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Uganda was the US 148th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0047% of US total exports (down from 0.0050% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Uganda was the US 129th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (up from 134th in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0034% of US total imports (up from 0.0026% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

US Exports to Uganda

The major share of US exports to Uganda in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:
