US Trade with Ukraine

In the 1st quarter of 2017, US trade with Ukraine totaled $655.3 million, up 71.67% ($273.6 million) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US exports to Ukraine in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $408.1 million, up 64.61% ($160.2 million) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US imports from Ukraine in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $247.2 million, up 84.76% ($113.4 million) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US trade surplus with Ukraine in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $161.0 million, a 41.00% increase ($46.8 million) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

Ukraine was the US 73rd largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 83rd in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0699% of US total trade (up from 0.0436% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Ukraine was the US 66th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 76th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1096% of US total exports (up from 0.0713% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Ukraine was the US 75th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 84th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0437% of US total imports (up from 0.0254% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

The major share of US exports to Ukraine in the 1st quarter of 2017 (and in the 1st quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:
