US Trade with Ukraine

In the 4th quarter of 2017, US trade with Ukraine totaled $826.0 million, up 82.01% ($372.2 million) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

US exports to Ukraine in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $564.6 million, up 69.90% ($232.3 million) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

US imports from Ukraine in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $261.4 million, up 115.14% ($139.9 million) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

US trade surplus with Ukraine in the 4th quarter of 2017 was $303.2 million, a 43.83% increase ($92.4 million) over the 4th quarter of 2016.

Ukraine was the US 71st largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 80th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0792% of US total trade (up from 0.0472% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Ukraine was the US 60th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 70th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1385% of US total exports (up from 0.0877% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Ukraine was the US 77th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 87th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0411% of US total imports (up from 0.0208% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

The major share of US exports to Ukraine in the 4th quarter of 2017 (and in the 4th quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:
