US Trade with Ukraine

In the first nine months of 2017, US trade with Ukraine totaled $2,071.6 million, up 67.97% ($838.3 million) from the first nine months of 2016.

US exports to Ukraine in the first nine months of 2017 totaled $1,261.3 million, up 69.04% ($515.2 million) from the first nine months of 2016.

US imports from Ukraine in the first nine months of 2017 totaled $810.3 million, up 66.34% ($323.2 million) from the first nine months of 2016.

US trade surplus with Ukraine in the first nine months of 2017 was $451.1 million, a 74.12% increase ($192.0 million) over the first nine months of 2016.

Ukraine was the US 74th largest trading partner in the first nine months of 2017 (up from 85th in the first nine months of 2016), accounting for 0.0712% of US total trade (up from 0.0471% in the first nine months of 2016).

Ukraine was the US 64th largest export market in the first nine months of 2017 (up from 74th in the first nine months of 2016), accounting for 0.1108% of US total exports (up from 0.0706% in the first nine months of 2016).

Ukraine was the US 74th largest supplier in the first nine months of 2017 (up from 82nd in the first nine months of 2016), accounting for 0.0457% of US total imports (up from 0.0312% in the first nine months of 2016).

The major share of US exports to Ukraine in the first nine months of 2017 (and in the first nine months of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:
