In the 4th quarter of 2017, US trade with Afghanistan was $153.5 million, down 44.82% ($124.7 million) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

US exports to Afghanistan in the 4th quarter of 2017 were $149.3 million, down 44.79% ($121.2 million) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

US imports from Afghanistan in the 4th quarter of 2017 were $4.1 million, down 46.01% ($3.5 million) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

US trade surplus with Afghanistan in the 4th quarter of 2017 was $145.2 million, a 44.75% decrease ($117.7 million) over the 4th quarter of 2016.
