In the 4th quarter of 2017, US trade with Australia totaled $8.9 billion, up 13.04% ($1.0 billion) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

US exports to Australia in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $6.5 billion, up 16.28% ($0.9 billion) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

US imports from Australia in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $2.3 billion, up 4.94% ($0.1 billion) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

US trade surplus with Australia in the 4th quarter of 2017 was $4.2 billion, a 23.82% increase ($0.8 billion) over the 4th quarter of 2016.

Australia was the US 22nd largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 24th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.8488% of US total trade (up from 0.8143% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Australia was the US 16th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 18th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 1.5967% of US total exports (up from 1.4775% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Australia was the US 34th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2017 (down from 32nd in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.3691% of US total imports (down from 0.3834% in the 4th quarter of 2016).
