US Trade with Bangladesh

In the 3rd quarter of 2017, US trade with Bangladesh totaled $2,035.9 million, up 8.12% ($153.0 million) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Bangladesh in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $479.8 million, up 98.41% ($238.0 million) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Bangladesh in the 3rd quarter of 2017 were $1,556.1 million, down 5.18% ($85.0 million) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with Bangladesh in the 3rd quarter of 2017 was $1,076.3 million, a 23.08% decrease ($323.0 million) over the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Bangladesh was the US 52nd largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (down from 49th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.2063% of US total trade (down from 0.2296% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Bangladesh was the US 58th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (up from 77th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1258% of US total exports (up from 0.0698% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Bangladesh was the US 43rd largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (down from 40th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.2570% of US total imports (down from 0.3466% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).
