US Trade with Brazil

In the 3rd quarter of 2017, US trade with Brazil totaled $17.7 billion, up 10.93% ($1.7 billion) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Brazil in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $9.6 billion, up 15.97% ($1.3 billion) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Brazil in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $8.1 billion, up 5.45% ($0.4 billion) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US trade surplus with Brazil in the 3rd quarter of 2017 was $1.6 billion, a 134.36% increase ($0.9 billion) over the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Brazil was the US 10th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (up from 11th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 1.7935% of US total trade (down from 1.9458% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Brazil was the US 9th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (up from 10th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 2.5294% of US total exports (up from 2.4003% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Brazil was the US 17th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 1.3302% of US total imports (down from 1.6133% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).
