In the 3rd quarter of 2017, US trade with France totaled $20.7 billion, up 3.60% ($0.7 billion) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US exports to France in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $8.7 billion, up 8.13% ($0.7 billion) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US imports from France in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $12.0 billion, up 0.55% ($0.1 billion) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with France in the 3rd quarter of 2017 was $3.3 billion, a 14.96% decrease ($0.6 billion) over the 3rd quarter of 2016.

France was the US 8th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 2.0988% of US total trade (down from 2.4382% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

France was the US 11th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 2.2782% of US total exports (down from 2.3185% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).
