In the first nine months of 2017, US trade with Ghana totaled $1,277.2 million, up 47.83% ($413.2 million) from the first nine months of 2016.

US exports to Ghana in the first nine months of 2017 totaled $724.5 million, up 19.90% ($120.3 million) from the first nine months of 2016.

US imports from Ghana in the first nine months of 2017 totaled $552.7 million, up 112.80% ($293.0 million) from the first nine months of 2016.

US trade surplus with Ghana in the first nine months of 2017 was $171.7 million, a 50.14% decrease ($172.7 million) over the first nine months of 2016.

Ghana was the US 82nd largest trading partner in the first nine months of 2017 (up from 90th in the first nine months of 2016), accounting for 0.0439% of US total trade (up from 0.0330% in the first nine months of 2016).

Ghana was the US 78th largest export market in the first nine months of 2017 (up from 82nd in the first nine months of 2016), accounting for 0.0636% of US total exports (up from 0.0571% in the first nine months of 2016).
