In 2017, US trade with India totaled $76.3 billion, up 9.95% ($6.9 billion) from 2016.

US exports to India in 2017 totaled $25.7 billion, up 18.50% ($4.0 billion) from 2016.

US imports from India in 2017 totaled $50.6 billion, up 6.07% ($2.9 billion) from 2016.

US trade deficit with India in 2017 was $24.9 billion, a 4.29% decrease ($1.1 billion) over 2016.

India was the US 9th largest trading partner in 2017 (just as in 2016), accounting for 1.9295% of US total trade (up from 1.8741% in 2016).

India was the US 15th largest export market in 2017 (up from 18th in 2016), accounting for 1.6623% of US total exports (up from 1.4925% in 2016).

India was the US 9th largest supplier in 2017 (just as in 2016), accounting for 2.1010% of US total imports (down from 2.1206% in 2016).
