In the first nine months of 2017, US trade with Indonesia totaled $20.8 billion, up 6.26% ($1.2 billion) from the first nine months of 2016.

US exports to Indonesia in the first nine months of 2017 totaled $5.0 billion, up 11.18% ($0.5 billion) from the first nine months of 2016.

US imports from Indonesia in the first nine months of 2017 totaled $15.8 billion, up 4.79% ($0.7 billion) from the first nine months of 2016.

US trade deficit with Indonesia in the first nine months of 2017 was $10.8 billion, a 2.06% increase ($0.2 billion) over the first nine months of 2016.

Indonesia was the US 25th largest trading partner in the first nine months of 2017 (up from 26th in the first nine months of 2016), accounting for 0.7156% of US total trade (down from 0.7482% in the first nine months of 2016).

Indonesia was the US 36th largest export market in the first nine months of 2017 (down from 35th in the first nine months of 2016), accounting for 0.4406% of US total exports (up from 0.4266% in the first nine months of 2016).

Indonesia was the US 19th largest supplier in the first nine months of 2017 (just as in the first nine months of 2016), accounting for 0.8921% of US total imports (down from 0.9658% in the first nine months of 2016).
