US Trade with Ireland

In the 3rd quarter of 2017, US trade with Ireland totaled $13,568.8 million, up 2.71% ($358.6 million) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Ireland in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $2,346.8 million, up 13.13% ($272.4 million) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Ireland in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $11,222.0 million, up 0.77% ($86.2 million) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with Ireland in the 3rd quarter of 2017 was $8,875.1 million, a 2.06% decrease ($186.2 million) over the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Ireland was the US 16th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 1.3749% of US total trade (down from 1.6110% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Ireland was the US 28th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (up from 31st in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.6154% of US total exports (up from 0.5986% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Ireland was the US 13th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (down from 12th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 1.8531% of US total imports (down from 2.3518% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).
