US exports to Italy in 2017 totaled $18.3 billion, up 9.37% ($1.6 billion) from 2016.

US imports from Italy in 2017 totaled $51.4 billion, up 10.43% ($4.9 billion) from 2016.

US trade deficit with Italy in 2017 was $33.1 billion, a 11.02% increase ($3.3 billion) over 2016.

Italy was the US 11th largest trading partner in 2017 (just as in 2016), accounting for 1.7631% of US total trade (up from 1.7094% in 2016).

Italy was the US 19th largest export market in 2017 (up from 20th in 2016), accounting for 1.1850% of US total exports (up from 1.1528% in 2016).
