In the 3rd quarter of 2017, US trade with Italy totaled $16.6 billion, up 5.54% ($0.9 billion) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Italy in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $4.2 billion, up 0.50% ($0.0 billion) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Italy in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $12.4 billion, up 7.36% ($0.9 billion) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with Italy in the 3rd quarter of 2017 was $8.2 billion, a 11.22% increase ($0.8 billion) over the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Italy was the US 12th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 1.6795% of US total trade (down from 1.9152% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).
