In the 4th quarter of 2017, US trade with Italy totaled $19.6 billion, up 18.16% ($3.0 billion) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

US exports to Italy in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $4.9 billion, up 12.11% ($0.5 billion) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

US imports from Italy in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $14.6 billion, up 20.34% ($2.5 billion) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with Italy in the 4th quarter of 2017 was $9.7 billion, a 24.97% increase ($1.9 billion) over the 4th quarter of 2016.

Italy was the US 9th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 11th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 1.8748% of US total trade (up from 1.7207% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Italy was the US 19th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 20th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 1.2044% of US total exports (up from 1.1560% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Italy was the US 7th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 9th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 2.3048% of US total imports (up from 2.0876% in the 4th quarter of 2016).
