US Trade with Nepal

In the 3rd quarter of 2017, US trade with Nepal totaled $41.9 million, up 20.12% ($7.0 million) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Nepal in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $13.6 million, up 94.85% ($6.6 million) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Nepal in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $28.2 million, up 1.37% ($0.4 million) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with Nepal in the 3rd quarter of 2017 was $14.6 million, a 29.93% decrease ($6.2 million) over the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Nepal was the US 150th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0042% of US total trade (down from 0.0043% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).
