In the 1st quarter of 2017, US trade with Qatar was $970.3 million, down 60.98% ($1,516.6 million) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US exports to Qatar in the 1st quarter of 2017 were $623.2 million, down 70.24% ($1,471.0 million) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US imports from Qatar in the 1st quarter of 2017 were $347.1 million, down 11.60% ($45.6 million) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US trade surplus with Qatar in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $276.1 million, a 83.77% decrease ($1,425.5 million) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

Qatar was the US 64th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (down from 43rd in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1034% of US total trade (down from 0.2842% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Qatar was the US 55th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2017 (down from 29th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1673% of US total exports (down from 0.6027% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
