US Trade with Qatar

In the 3rd quarter of 2017, US trade with Qatar totaled $1,234.8 million, up 17.11% ($180.4 million) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Qatar in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $1,003.2 million, up 24.10% ($194.8 million) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Qatar in the 3rd quarter of 2017 were $231.6 million, down 5.86% ($14.4 million) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US trade surplus with Qatar in the 3rd quarter of 2017 was $771.6 million, a 37.21% increase ($209.3 million) over the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Qatar was the US 64th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1251% of US total trade (down from 0.1286% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).
