In 2014, US trade with Russia was $35.2 billion, down 9.69% ($3.8 billion) from 2013.

US exports to Russia in 2014 were $10.8 billion, down 3.52% ($0.4 billion) from 2013.

US imports from Russia in 2014 were $24.5 billion, down 12.16% ($3.4 billion) from 2013.

US trade deficit with Russia in 2014 was $13.7 billion, a 17.93% decrease ($3.0 billion) over 2013.

Russia was the US 27th largest trading partner in 2014 (down from 22nd in 2013), accounting for 0.87% of US total trade (down from 1.00% in 2013).

Russia was the US 29th largest export market in 2014 (down from 28th in 2013), accounting for 0.66% of US total exports (down from 0.71% in 2013).

Russia was the US 20th largest supplier in 2014 (down from 18th in 2013), accounting for 1.01% of US total imports (down from 1.20% in 2013).

  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 9.65% of US total exports to Russia (11.61% in 2013);

  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 2.49% of US total exports to Russia (2.23% in 2013);
