US exports to South Korea in the first nine months of 2017 totaled $36.1 billion, up 17.35% ($5.3 billion) from the first nine months of 2016.

US imports from South Korea in the first nine months of 2017 were $54.9 billion, down 0.29% ($0.2 billion) from the first nine months of 2016.

US trade deficit with South Korea in the first nine months of 2017 was $18.8 billion, a 22.59% decrease ($5.5 billion) over the first nine months of 2016.

South Korea was the US 6th largest trading partner in the first nine months of 2017 (just as in the first nine months of 2016), accounting for 3.1251% of US total trade (down from 3.2745% in the first nine months of 2016).
