US Trade with Trinidad and Tobago

In the 3rd quarter of 2017, US trade with Trinidad and Tobago totaled $1,240.4 million, up 0.27% ($3.3 million) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US exports to Trinidad and Tobago in the 3rd quarter of 2017 were $441.6 million, down 12.82% ($64.9 million) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US imports from Trinidad and Tobago in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $798.9 million, up 9.34% ($68.2 million) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with Trinidad and Tobago in the 3rd quarter of 2017 was $357.3 million, a 59.43% increase ($133.2 million) over the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Trinidad and Tobago was the US 61st largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1257% of US total trade (down from 0.1509% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Trinidad and Tobago was the US 62nd largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (down from 58th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1158% of US total exports (down from 0.1462% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

The largest declines in US exports to Trinidad and Tobago in the 3rd quarter of 2017 over the 3rd quarter of 2016 were recorded for the following product groups:
