In the first nine months of 2017, US trade with Trinidad and Tobago was $4,068.8 million, down 2.84% ($118.8 million) from the first nine months of 2016.

US exports to Trinidad and Tobago in the first nine months of 2017 were $1,299.2 million, down 28.90% ($528.0 million) from the first nine months of 2016.

US imports from Trinidad and Tobago in the first nine months of 2017 totaled $2,769.6 million, up 17.34% ($409.2 million) from the first nine months of 2016.

US trade deficit with Trinidad and Tobago in the first nine months of 2017 was $1,470.4 million, a 175.78% increase ($937.2 million) over the first nine months of 2016.

Trinidad and Tobago was the US 60th largest trading partner in the first nine months of 2017 (down from 58th in the first nine months of 2016), accounting for 0.1398% of US total trade (down from 0.1598% in the first nine months of 2016).
