In 2017, US trade with Uganda totaled $189.3 million, up 53.91% ($66.3 million) from 2016.

US exports to Uganda in 2017 totaled $107.8 million, up 56.17% ($38.8 million) from 2016.

US imports from Uganda in 2017 totaled $81.5 million, up 51.01% ($27.5 million) from 2016.

US trade surplus with Uganda in 2017 was $26.3 million, a 74.71% increase ($11.2 million) over 2016.

Uganda was the US 147th largest trading partner in 2017 (up from 155th in 2016), accounting for 0.0048% of US total trade (up from 0.0033% in 2016).

Uganda was the US 139th largest export market in 2017 (up from 151st in 2016), accounting for 0.0070% of US total exports (up from 0.0047% in 2016).
